Flame Detector Testing Procedure
• Stand between 10 and 35 feet from a Flame Detector.
• Aim the TL105 directly into the detector window.
• Press the ON button to ensure the high intensity pulsing beam strikes the detector face squarely.
• Shake the lamp to simulate flame flicker and improve the detector's response.
• The red LED blinks slowly and green light may blink, then quickly after a time delay, indicating test completion.
• Disable the TL105 system during the test to prevent false trips.
• Operate the test lamp only for necessary testing.
• If battery level drops, the lamp is shut off until recharged.
• Keep the TL105 charged when not in use to prevent excessive battery discharge.
